BLOC1S2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein biogenesis of lysosomal organelles complex 1 subunit 2, which is encoded by the BLOC1S2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the BLOC-1 complex, a complex that is required for normal biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles (LRO), such as platelet dense granules and melanosomes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 142 residues, a mass of 16 kDa, and is a member of the BLOC1S2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include 11 kDa centrosome associated protein, BLOC-1 subunit 2, centrosomal 10 kDa protein, centrosome protein oncogene, and biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex 1 subunit 2.
There are BLOC1S2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
