SEC23B ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SEC23 homolog B, COPII coat complex component, which is encoded by the SEC23B gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the coat protein complex II (COPII) which promotes the formation of transport vesicles from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 767 residues, a mass of 86.5 kDa, and is a member of the SEC23/SEC24 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The SEC23B gene has been associated with the disease, Cowden syndrome. Other alias names for this target include CDAII, CDAN2, CWS7, HEMPAS, hSec23B, and CDA-II.
Some SEC23B ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
