The following serine protease 1 ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of serine protease 1 in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the PRSS1 gene. This protein is known to have activity against the synthetic substrates Boc-Phe-Ser-Arg-Mec, Boc-Leu-Thr-Arg-Mec, Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-Mec and Boc-Val-Pro-Arg-Mec. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 247 residues, a mass of 26.6 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. It has been described to be a secreted protein. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally cleaved. The gene encoding this protein has been associated with the disease, Pancreatitis. This protein may also be known as TRY1, TRY4, TRYP1, TCR V beta 4.1, anionic trypsin I, beta-trypsin, cationic trypsinogen, and TRP1.
Some serine protease 1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 4000 ng/mL. Use the search filters to narrow your search and click on the ELISA kits below for more detailed information, such as reactivity and assay sensitivity.
