HPS6 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein HPS6 biogenesis of lysosomal organelles complex 2 subunit 3, which is encoded by the HPS6 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to regulate the synthesis and function of lysosomes and of highly specialized organelles, such as melanosomes and platelet dense granules. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 775 residues and a mass of 83 kDa. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The HPS6 gene has been associated with the disease, Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome. Other alias names for this target include Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome-6 protein (HPS6), ruby-eye protein homolog, and BLOC-2 complex member HPS6.
The detection range for different HPS6 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
