BAG4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BAG cochaperone 4, which is encoded by the BAG4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to inhibit the chaperone activity of HSP70/HSC70 by promoting substrate release (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 457 residues and a mass of 49.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include BAG family molecular chaperone regulator 4, BCL2 associated athanogene 4, bcl-2-associated athanogene 4, silencer of death domains, and SODD.
Some BAG4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
