GPRC5A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member A, which is encoded by the GPRC5A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is categorized as a type of orphan receptor. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 357 residues, a mass of 40.3 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 3 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane and is notably expressed at high level in fetal and adult lung tissues but repressed in most human lung cancers. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include PEIG-1, RAI3, RAIG1, TIG1, retinoic acid-induced protein 3, and GPCR5A.
Some GPRC5A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
