The following prolyl 3-hydroxylase 3 ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of prolyl 3-hydroxylase 3 in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the P3H3 gene. This protein is reported to be part of a complex composed of PLOD1, P3H3 and P3H4 that catalyzes hydroxylation of lysine residues in collagen alpha chains and is required for normal assembly and cross-linkling of collagen fibrils. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 736 residues, a mass of 81.8 kDa, and is a member of the Leprecan protein family. Its subcellular location is known to be in the ER. In addition, it is notably expressed in fetal cartilage. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally glycosylated. This protein may also be known as HSU47926, LEPREL2, gene rich cluster, B, leprecan-like 2, procollagen-proline 3-dioxygenase, protein B, and GRCB.
The detection range for different prolyl 3-hydroxylase 3 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL.
