HSAN1 ELISA Kits

Other synonyms may include: serine palmitoyltransferase 1, long chain base biosynthesis protein 1, serine C-palmitoyltransferase, serine-palmitoyl-CoA transferase 1, HSN1, LBC1, and LCB1. It is encoded by the SPTLC1 gene to yield a protein 473 amino acids in length and 52.7 kDa in size. However, there are up to 2 reported isoforms. The protein, an enzyme, is categorized into the Class-II pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent aminotransferase family. Versions of HSAN1 are present in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Frog, Chicken.
