CECR2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CECR2 histone acetyl-lysine reader, which is encoded by the CECR2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a regulatory subunit of the ATP-dependent CERF-1 and CERF-5 ISWI chromatin remodeling complexes, which form ordered nucleosome arrays on chromatin and facilitate access to DNA during DNA-templated processes such as DNA replication, transcription, and repair. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1484 residues and a mass of 164.2 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle, thymus, placenta and lung. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include cat eye syndrome chromosome region, candidate 2, cat eye syndrome critical region protein 2, and chromatin remodeling regulator CECR2.
The detection range for different CECR2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
