These INGAP ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of INGAP in biological samples. INGAP is an alias of the human REG3A gene, which encodes the protein, regenerating family member 3 alpha. Notably, INGAP is known to play a role in the regulation of cell differentiation and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other functions. The REG3A protein is described to be 175 amino acid residues in length and 19.4 kilodaltons in mass. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is noted to be expressed by keratinocytes. This protein is known to be cleaved. Other names for this target antigen include HIP and HIP/PAP.
