These HFABP ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HFABP in biological samples. HFABP is an alias of the human FABP3 gene, which encodes the protein, fatty acid binding protein 3. Notably, HFABP is known to play a role in brown fat cell differentiation and cholesterol metabolism and homeostasis, among other functions. The FABP3 protein is described to be 133 amino acid residues in length and 14.9 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. Other names for this target antigen include FABP11 and M-FABP.
There are HFABP ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 7.81 pg/mL and as high as 250 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
