These Arylsulfatase K ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Arylsulfatase K in biological samples. Arylsulfatase K is an alias of the human ARSK gene, which encodes the protein, arylsulfatase family member K. The protein is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of pseudosubstrates such as p-nitrocatechol sulfate and p-nitrophenyl sulfate. The ARSK protein is described to be 536 amino acid residues in length and 61.5 kilodaltons in mass. Its subcellular localization is in the lysosomes and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed at high levels in the placenta and pancreas. This protein is known to be N-glycosylated and cleaved. Other names for this target antigen include arylsulfatase K.
Some Arylsulfatase K ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
