PAN2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein poly(A) specific ribonuclease subunit PAN2, which is encoded by the PAN2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known catalytic subunit of the poly(A)-nuclease (PAN) deadenylation complex, one of two cytoplasmic mRNA deadenylases involved in general and miRNA-mediated mRNA turnover. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1202 residues, a mass of 135.4 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase C19 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include PAN2-PAN3 deadenylation complex catalytic subunit PAN2, PAB-dependent poly(A)-specific ribonuclease subunit 2, PAB-dependent poly(A)-specific ribonuclease subunit PAN2, and USP52.
The detection range for different PAN2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.313 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
