SBDS ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SBDS ribosome maturation factor, which is encoded by the SBDS gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be required for the assembly of mature ribosomes and ribosome biogenesis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 250 residues, a mass of 28.8 kDa, and is a member of the SDO1/SBDS protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is widely expressed across many tissue types. The SBDS gene has been associated with the disease, Shwachman-Diamond syndrome. Other alias names for this target include SDO1, SDS, SWDS, ribosome maturation protein SBDS, SBDS, ribosome assembly guanine nucleotide exchange factor, and CGI-97.
Some SBDS ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
