SIGLEC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein sialic acid binding Ig like lectin 1, which is encoded by the SIGLEC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and cell matrix adhesion. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1709 residues, a mass of 182.6 kDa, and is a member of the SIGLEC (sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin) protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted and is noted to be expressed by macrophages in various tissues. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include SN, sialoadhesin, sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin 1, sialoadhesin, sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin 1, and CD169.
The detection range for different SIGLEC1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
