PLA2G15 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phospholipase A2 group XV, which is encoded by the PLA2G15 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to have dual calcium-independent phospholipase and O-acyltransferase activities with a potential role in glycerophospholipid homeostasis and remodeling of acyl groups of lipophilic alcohols present in acidic cellular compartments. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 412 residues, a mass of 46.7 kDa, and is a member of the Lipase protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes, membrane, and is secreted and is notably expressed in blood plasma. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include GXVPLA2, LLPL, LPLA2, LYPLA3, 1-O-acylceramide synthase, and ACS.
Some PLA2G15 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.781 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
