NCAPH ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein non-SMC condensin I complex subunit H, which is encoded by the NCAPH gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a regulatory subunit of the condensin complex, a complex required for conversion of interphase chromatin into mitotic-like condense chromosomes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 741 residues, a mass of 82.6 kDa, and is a member of the CND2 (condensin subunit 2) protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is found to be widely expressed at low level. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The NCAPH gene has been associated with the disease, Microcephaly. Other alias names for this target include CAP-H, CAPH, MCPH23, NCAPH1, condensin complex subunit 2, and BRRN1.
Some NCAPH ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
