These APE1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of APE1 in biological samples. APE1 is an alias of the human APEX1 gene, which encodes the protein, apurinic/apyrimidinic endodeoxyribonuclease 1. Notably, APE1 is known to play a role in pathways of aging, among other functions. The APEX1 protein is described to be 318 amino acid residues in length and 35.6 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated, acetylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include APE and APEN.
The detection range for different APE1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 125 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
