GBP5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein guanylate binding protein 5, which is encoded by the GBP5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and viral immune response. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 586 residues, a mass of 66.6 kDa, and is a member of the GB1/RHD3 GTPase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, golgi, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in peripheral blood monocytes. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include GTP-binding protein 5, guanine nucleotide-binding protein 5, and GBP-TA antigen.
Some GBP5 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
