The following Microtubule Associated Protein 1 Light Chain 3 Alpha ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of microtubule associated protein 1 light chain 3 alpha in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the MAP1LC3A gene. This protein is known to be a ubiquitin-like modifier involved in formation of autophagosomal vacuoles (autophagosomes). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 121 residues, a mass of 14.3 kDa, and is a member of the ATG8 protein family. Its subcellular location is known to be in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm. In addition, it is notably expressed in heart, brain, liver, skeletal muscle and testis but absent in thymus and peripheral blood leukocytes. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally cleaved and phosphorylated. This protein may also be known as MAP1 light chain 3-like protein 1, MAP1A/1B light chain 3 A, MAP1A/MAP1B LC3 A, MAP1A/MAP1B light chain 3 A, and microtubule-associated proteins 1A/1B light chain 3A.
Some Microtubule Associated Protein 1 Light Chain 3 Alpha ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 7.813 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Use the search filters to narrow your search and click on the ELISA kits below for more detailed information, such as reactivity and assay sensitivity.
