CD1D ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CD1d molecule, which is encoded by the CD1D gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an antigen-presenting protein that binds self and non-self glycolipids and presents them to T-cell receptors on natural killer T-cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 335 residues and a mass of 37.7 kDa. It is known to be localized in the ER, lysosomes, and cell membrane and is noted to be expressed on cortical thymocytes, on certain T-cell leukemias, and in various other tissues. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The CD1D gene has been associated with the disease, . Other alias names for this target include R3, R3G1, antigen-presenting glycoprotein CD1d, CD1D antigen, d polypeptide, HMC class I antigen-like glycoprotein CD1D, and CD1A.
Some CD1d ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
