These FK506 Binding Protein 6 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring specific protein levels in biological samples. FK506 Binding Protein 6 is an alias of the human FKBP6 gene, which encodes the protein, FKBP prolyl isomerase family member 6 (inactive). Notably, FK506 Binding Protein 6 is known to play a role in cell differentiation and protein folding, among other functions. The FKBP6 protein is 327 amino acid residues in length and 37.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in all tissues examined, with higher expression in testis, heart, skeletal muscle, liver, and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include FKBP36, SPGF77, and inactive peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase FKBP6.
Some FK506 Binding Protein 6 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
