TFEC ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein transcription factor EC, which is encoded by the TFEC gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported transcriptional regulator that acts as a repressor or an activator. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 347 residues, a mass of 38.8 kDa, and is a member of the MiT/TFE protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is noted to be expressed moderately in spleen, kidney, bone marrow, small intestine and leukocytes. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include TFEC-L, TFECL, bHLHe34, hTFEC-L, class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 34, and TCFEC.
The detection range for different TFEC ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
