AXL ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein AXL receptor tyrosine kinase, which is encoded by the AXL gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor tyrosine kinase that transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding growth factor GAS6 and which is thus regulating many physiological processes including cell survival, cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 894 residues, a mass of 98.3 kDa, and is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in metastatic colon tumors. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include JTK11, Tyro7, UFO, tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO, AXL oncogene, AXL transforming sequence/gene, and ARK.
The detection range for different AXL ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 1 pg/mL and as high as 150 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
