Anti-BCS1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The BCS1 antigen is another term for the human protein BCS1 homolog, ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex chaperone, encoded by the BCS1L gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 419 residues and a mass of 47.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The BCS1 protein is a member of the AAA ATPase protein family.
