Anti-SFD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SFD is a known alias name of the protein TIMP metallopeptidase inhibitor 3, encoded by the TIMP3 gene in humans. This 211-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell. Indicated applications for SFD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
