Anti-DHX57 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DExH-box helicase 57. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1386 amino acid residues and a mass of 155.6 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the DEAD box helicase protein family, DHX57 is a suspected ATP-binding RNA helicase. Synonyms for this target antigen include DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp/His) box polypeptide 57, DEAH box protein 57, DEAH-box RNA/DNA helicase AAM73547, DEAH-box helicase 57, and putative ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX57. DHX57 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These DHX57 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
