Anti-LGALS7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein galectin 7. It is notably expressed in the vagina, skin, oral mucosa, esophagus, and cervix. Synonyms for this target antigen include LGALS7A, lectin, galactoside-binding, soluble, 7, and GAL7. LGALS7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. A number of LGALS7 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
