Anti-FAHD2A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein fumarylacetoacetate hydrolase domain containing 2A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.6 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the FAH protein family, FAHD2A is believed to have hydrolase activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include CGI-105 and fumarylacetoacetate hydrolase domain-containing protein 2A. FAHD2A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the FAHD2A antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
