Anti-Exosome Component 9 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene EXOSC9 in humans. The Exosome Component 9 protein has an expected mass of 48.9 kDa, but there are 4 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as PM/Scl-75, PCH1D, PMSCL1, RRP45, exosome complex component RRP45, and P75 polymyositis-scleroderma overlap syndrome associated autoantigen. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
