Anti-Contactin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CNTN1 in humans. The Contactin 1 protein has an expected mass of 113.3 kDa, but there are 3 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as GP135, F3, MYPCN, glycoprotein gP135, and neural cell surface protein F3. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
