Anti-Tripartite motif containing 28 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TRIM28 in humans. The gene may also be known as RNF96, TF1B, TIF1B, KAP1, PPP1R157, and transcription intermediary factor 1-beta. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 88.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
