Anti-Prothrombin antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene F2, or 'coagulation factor II, thrombin' in humans. The 622-amino acid protein is a member of the Peptidase S1 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
