Anti-PRG1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRG1 is a known alias name of the protein serglycin, encoded by the SRGN gene in humans. This 158-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in formation of mast cell secretory granules and mediates storage of various compounds in secretory vesicles. It is localized to the Golgi and cytoplasm of the cell and features O-glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the skin, lymph node, lung, bone marrow, and appendix. Indicated applications for PRG1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
