Anti-PPP1CB antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase 1 catalytic subunit beta. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 327 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of a the PPP phosphatase protein family, PPP1CB is reported to be a protein phosphatase that associates with over 200 regulatory proteins to form highly specific holoenzymes which dephosphorylate hundreds of biological targets. Synonyms for this target antigen include MP, NSLH2, PP-1B, PP1B, PP1beta, PP1c, PPP1CD, and HEL-S-80p.
