Anti-ARHGAP25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Rho GTPase activating protein 25. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 645 amino acid residues and a mass of 73.4 kDa. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the skin, lymph node, lung, bone marrow, and appendix. ARHGAP25 is known to be a GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. Synonyms for this target antigen include KAIA0053, epididymis secretory protein Li 308, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, rho-type GTPase-activating protein 25, and HEL-S-308. ARHGAP25 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ARHGAP25 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
