Anti-TEX38 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein testis expressed 38. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 206 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Synonyms for this target antigen include ATPAF1 antisense RNA 1, ATPAF1 antisense gene protein 1, testis highly expressed protein 4, testis-expressed sequence 38 protein, and testis-expressed protein 38. TEX38 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TEX38 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
