Anti-TCAIM antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein T cell activation inhibitor, mitochondrial. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 496 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TCAIM is believed to regulate T-cell apoptosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include tolerance associated gene-1 protein. TCAIM gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the TCAIM antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
