Anti-SSUH2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ssu-2 homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 375 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in enterocytes of small and large intestinal mucosa. SSUH2 is reported to play a role in odontogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include SSU-2, fls485, protein SSUH2 homolog, protein ssu-2 homolog, and C3orf32. SSUH2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SSUH2 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
