Anti-RMDN2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein regulator of microtubule dynamics 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 410 amino acid residues and a mass of 47.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the RMDN protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 82, member A, family with sequence similarity 82, member A1, microtubule-associated protein, and regulator of microtubule dynamics protein 2. RMDN2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the RMDN2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
