Anti-CPED1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cadherin like and PC-esterase domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1026 amino acid residues and a mass of 117.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the PC-esterase protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include cadherin-like and PC-esterase domain-containing protein 1. CPED1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CPED1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
