Anti-FXYD domain containing ion transport regulator 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FXYD2 in humans. The gene may also be known as ATP1G1, HOMG2, sodium/potassium-transporting ATPase subunit gamma, and ATPase, Na+/K+ transporting, gamma 1 polypeptide. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 7.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
