Anti-Pleckstrin homology and RUN domain containing M1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PLEKHM1 in humans. The gene may also be known as AP162, B2, OPTA3, OPTB6, pleckstrin homology domain-containing family M member 1, and 162 kDa adapter protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 117.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
