Anti-2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene OAS2 in humans. The gene may also be known as 2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthase 2, and (2'-5')oligo(A) synthetase 2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 82.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
