Anti-PCTK1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PCTK1 is a known alias name of the protein cyclin dependent kinase 16, encoded by the CDK16 gene in humans. This 496-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a protein kinase that plays a role in vesicle-mediated transport processes and exocytosis. It is localized to the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the pancreas islets. Other synonyms for PCTK1 include PCTAIRE, PCTAIRE1, and PCTGAIRE. Indicated applications for PCTK1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
