Anti-STMN4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein stathmin 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 189 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Stathmin protein family, STMN4 is known to be involved with neuronal development. Synonyms for this target antigen include stathmin-like protein B3, stathmin-like-protein RB3, and stathmin-like 4. STMN4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some STMN4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
