Anti-EXO5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein exonuclease 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 373 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is a member of the EXO5 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include defects in morphology 1 homolog, defects in morphology protein 1 homolog, probable exonuclease V, and exonuclease V. EXO5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some EXO5 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
