Anti-GAGE9 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GAGE9 is a known alias name of the protein PAGE family member 4, encoded by the PAGE4 gene in humans. This 102-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of apoptosis and the response to oxidative stress, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is noted to be expressed at basal lvels in the adult normal prostate gland but is highly up-regulated in the fetal prostate and prostate cancer cells. Other synonyms for GAGE9 include CT16.7 and GAGEC1. Indicated applications for GAGE9 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
