Anti-RBM19 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RNA binding motif protein 19. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 960 amino acid residues and a mass of 107.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in the crypts of Lieberkuhn of the intestine and in intestinal neoplasia. A member of the RRM MRD1 protein family, RBM19 is reported to play a role in embryo pre-implantation development. Synonyms for this target antigen include Mrd1 and probable RNA-binding protein 19. RBM19 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some RBM19 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
