Anti-PPM2C antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PPM2C is a known alias name of the protein pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatase catalytic subunit 1, encoded by the PDP1 gene in humans. This 537-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the dephosphorylation and concomitant reactivation of the alpha subunit of the E1 component of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. Other synonyms for PPM2C include PDH, PDH, and PDP. Indicated applications for PPM2C antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
